ERIC – European Rail Information Centre
ERIC is modular and continuously updated system of information for railway carriers, shippers, freight forwarders and other subjects of railway freight transportation.
Information is provided from processing centre in electronic shape, in several European languages and in several formats depending on customers needs:
- Desktop application
- Internet application
- Dynamic linked libraries
- Library of tariffs and regulations in original version in electronic form
- Web services
OPTIM
OPTIM is a highly powerful tool for searching the cheapest freight tariff between two arbitrary railway stations all over the Europe. The application calculates the freight in accordance with combinations of the preinstalled tariffs.
This makes it unnecessary for the user to know which tariff to use for the calculation, since OPTIM exercises all tariffs and their combinations in the installation.
The result is displayed in the form of transport routes list with valid tariffs and sequenced by freight. Own tariffs, agreement prices and even specified tariff discounts are included in the calculation as well. Users are able to enter these cost categories into the application.
