As part of the EUREKA programme under the code E!3715 LOGCHAIN+, representing the meeting of participants to an Umbrella type project held in Olomouc on 15 and 16 May 2008. The aim of this project was to make efforts towards improving the freight transportation conditions in Europe through analyses of the existing chains and the logistics between the carrier and the customer. According to the focus of this project, the solution to the issue is envisaged for the period 2006 to 2011.
Jerid continuously contributes to the various project solutions thanks to its know-how in the IT fields for freight and transportation. This year JERID hosted the above mentioned meeting which was attended and participated through presentations by 35 participants from 10 European countries. Among others, the official programme of the international conference was supplemented by a compelling field trip to the central dispatching centre in Přerov.
