The 7th UIC Internet Club Forum - an eCommerce conference helping Railways achieve better customer service through the application of information technologies - was held in Paris 2 & 3 October 2003. More than 100 representatives of railways, railway industry and information and services providers from 22 world countries participated on this forum.
A presentation of the new internet application ERIC - European Rail Information Centre from JERID didnt get lost among speakers from USA, Canada, France, UK, Italy and Germany. According to UIC organizers words: "The ERIC presentation was a wonderful example for the freight workshop - and showed us how collaborative commerce can provide value to the customers".
