Simultaneously JERID provides with another services such as consultancy, processing of projects and organization of specialized seminars and conferences.
The JERID Company has maintained the professional processing and provision of rail freight information from its very founding in 1993. JERID aims to assist its clients in finding information on tariffs, costs, goods and distances on one site and in electronic version through its comprehensive range of products and services. The scope of information provided has expanded from an initial focus on Central Europe to encompass the whole of Europe. Concurrently, the extent of information has been broadened to include the much-needed information on stations, wagons, optimisation features, printing of transportation documents and a library of railway documents in original electronic version.
Since 1996, JERID has upgraded its offer of services through the incorporation of highly specialised information systems on freight forwarding and trade companies, on company's logistics units and on air traffic control. JERID exclusively developed a complete range of specific information systems for the Czech (CD) and Slovak (ZSSK) railways.All software products of JERID Company were transferred on the MS Windows platform in the year 1998. The quantity of data and information offered by JERID has been grown during following years. In 2004, JERID introduced the first electronic railway map of Europe. The RailMap has been subsequently advanced also as a tool for monitoring of wagons and consignments.
JERID obtained the certificate „MS Certified Partner" from Microsoft in 2005.
Since 2006, JERID has provided data and information also from the Euro-Asian region by including information from CIS and Baltic countries in its portfolio. JERID responds to the development of new technologies and increasing customers' interest in both electronic data exchange and web applications by the flexible adaptation of its products to these new trends.
